I believe we must live in a continual motion of exploration: learning, evolving, creating, expanding. Storytelling is the center of this exploration, and human connection is the heart of all stories.
Every brand has a compelling story to tell, a vital feeling to express, and an authentic promise to make the world. I help distill a company’s essence, expand an organization’s potential, and work collaboratively with my clients to establish brands they feel proud to call their own. The brands we co-create captivate the heart and mind, feel both new and natural, honor history and inspire what’s next.
With 10 years of experience partnering with organizations at pivotal points of growth, my brand answers are anchored in insight, emotion, and precision. Both autonomous and collaborative, I work directly with clients and in partnership with agencies. My client rooster includes growing tech giants (Facebook, Slack), launching startups out of stealth (Moveworks, Granica), repositioning and rearchitecting platforms after M&A (Roofstock, Symphony Talent), uniting large healthcare networks (Lyra, Thrive Pet Healthcare), elevating challenger brands ( Alluma, Modern IT), and reinvigorating heritage brands (Blanchard, Don Francisco’s Coffee) with relevance.
As a Nemerov Scholar, I attended Washington University in St. Louis on a Creative Writing scholarship, graduating with an B.A. in English Literature and Minors in Marketing, Psychology, Creative Writing (Poetry), and Dance.
When I’m not brand building, I’m creating one-of-a-kind ice cream cream cakes for Ode to Cakes, hiking the hills, reading multigenerational novels about home, chasing dogs and bodies of water, or brainstorming new ways to use our plethora of backyard oranges with my poet and partner of 8 years, Nick (yes, we’re happy to share🍊).

Early in my career, I assumed that my dream projects would align perfectly with the brands I identify with (currently: Sunny Tahini, US National Park Service, LA Dance Project). And undeniably, the prospect of working with the brands I love still excites me. But, the projects I look back and feel most thankful for emerged from industries I knew little to nothing about — AI in stroke care, object storage, CDMOs, sustainable farming drones. What I've learned is that curiosity transforms every challenge into something inherently compelling. Every day unfolds a new world, introducing unfamiliar walls, rules, and spheres. Embracing the unknown isn't just about professional growth; it's a catalyst for learning that never stops.

I've collaborated with many inspired leaders— from visionary executives to humble change-makers. In the "sponge stage" of my work, where I soak up insights, I've come to see effective leadership as grounded in one fundamental concept: balance.
Perhaps it's the Libra in me, but leadership, in my view, is a dance of delicate equilibrium. It's the art of finding footing between vulnerability and confidence, kindness and assertiveness, listening and speaking, all while staying true to who one is, at their roots. The blend of strength and empathy — a dynamic interplay — defines the kind of leader I aim to represent.

Plain IQ holds little significance if knowledge can't be effectively communicated to people in a way that resonates - emotionally, not just rationally.
I relish reading a room much like I do a good book — sensing the tone, dynamics, the atmospheric emotions at play. At times in my career, I viewed myself as "too sensitive," believing I needed to control my emotions to navigate the professional landscape. Now, I recognize that emotional intelligence (EQ) is my greatest professional asset — an asset more potent than any college degree or client roster. I am, after all, in the business of building relationships, guiding teams, and understanding people's inner worlds. While smarts, data, and reason are indispensable (and always valued), navigating this terrain demands more. It requires gut instinct — and most of all, heart.

When I landed my first job in the brand world, I'd be lying if I claimed to know much about brand. For reasons that remain beyond me, two special women took a chance and offered me a job. I jumped. They saw something in me that I didn't yet see in myself.
Belief is a powerful thing. One of the most fulfilling parts of my work is seeing the people I mentor and manage start to cross the bridge into self-belief. Watching the organizations I work with leverage belief in Vision as force for good. And pushing myself to believe that, through complexity, I can get there. When I think about the people and partners I aspire to surround myself with, I think about belief. We’re human. We’re always in a process of becoming. Let’s surround ourselves with people who believe in our inherent limitlessness.
